Hi, everyone!
I just made a few updates to the site and I thought I'd let everyone know about it, but first, I have a couple things to say.
The Activity Check is almost closed now, so if you haven't posted, please do so immediately! I haven't been very impressed by the turn-out and I would hate to lose so many characters. Speaking of which, after the Activity Check, claims and the canon list will both be updated, so make sure to check both of these things out tomorrow.
Also, we obviously aren't as active as we have been in the past, so logging in and posting is crucial. I admit that I have contributed to this - I totally understand that it's hard to get motivated to reply to threads sometimes; it happens to everyone. However, if we aren't logging and posting in once a week to stay active, you might not get off so easily the next time the Activity Check rolls around.
If you haven't posted in over a month, even if you have posted in the Absentee line, I might have to delete you next time. I'm trying to give as much leeway as I can with this, but I've worked very hard on this site, and I'm sure other people would like to have your characters (if you play canons) if they can stay properly active and you can't. I understand that life gets in the way, but long periods of absence just aren't acceptable on this site. Please keep this in mind when trying to stay active.
Now that all the heavy stuff is out of the way, for anyone who hasn't been around lately, two updates prior to the most recent ones have occurred this month. One of which is that we replaced our standard updates with a live Twitter feed from the HMTWIT account (staff members: PM me if you would like the log-in information in case you need to make any updates). Make sure to follow us if you have a Twitter account. If you don't, you can just check out the updates in the "News" side table like usual; no big deal. The other update is that we have added an "Alternate Dimension" board under the "Time Machine" category. This board is meant for any overly-AU plots you would like to roleplay, whether they pertain to the theme of the site or not. As long as they are Glee related, that's all that matters to us. Otherwise, you're free to post whatever kind of crazy, AU stuff you want, as long as it follows the site rules.
Onto the new updates! For one thing, all threads that have not been posted in during the month of August have been moved to the Thread Graveyard. If a thread of yours has been mistakenly moved, please contact a staff member and we will relocate it for you. I also added two new important threads meant to help aid our activity. One is the Open Thread Listing, located HERE. If you post a thread that isn't tagged for a specific person, please post in the Open Thread Listing. I guarantee it will help you find someone to roleplay with. Also, if you have a dead or finished thread, you can now post HERE to notify a staff member, and they will move the thread to the Thread Graveyard for you.
Thanks for reading all this! I know it's rather long, but it's all very important stuff.
XOXO, Haley
