introducing, the one and only alexandra woods!

this girl is a brand new transfer to carmel high, so you'd think that people would be looking at her and whispering about her in the halls, right? wrong! lexi's the kind of girl to blend right into the shadows, not worthy of a second glance from most people and always the kind who is more than willing to just sit back and keep her mouth shut if it means that she won't attract any attention. she is currently living with her aunt kathryn, who pulled her out of her father's home after she found out that her brother-in-law was abusing his daughter, but she knows nothing of the fact that she was raped when she was thirteen years old. all that kathryn knows is that her lexi used to sing and dance around like a girl who was destined for the stage, and now she rarely says a word aside from "thank you." my little darling has been introduced to vocal adrenaline against her will, and it's going to take one hell of an attempt to break down her barriers and earn her trust. friends would be a great help, perhaps someone to take her under their wing until she finally opens up and sings. you never know, they might be impressed, they might not be, right? either way, she needs a couple of people to really rely on, and perhaps someone who will be among the first to learn the truth of her transfer. i can't see lexi having too many enemies, unless of course someone is incredibly vain and becomes jealous of her looks, otherwise the only thing she'll have going for her is her voice. then again, she's no rachel berry. when it comes to the department of love, i'm going to be putting in an ad for a character played by joe jonas, so if anyone wants to pick him up before i do, please feel free. until then, she might have a couple of guys flirt with her, but she won't be interested due to her past.

Rachel&Alex

Rachel honestly doesn't interact with students from Carmel, much less those from the glee club there for obvious reasons. However, I could possibly see her possibly be interested in getting to know her a bit because she's obviously so different than the rest of the students in the glee club there, and even than the ones in New Directions. She doesn't tend to go to Akron or anything, but if Alex ever finds herself in Lima or something, Rachel could run into her, maybe talk a little with her. You said that it would take a lot of her to open up to someone, and I can see Rachel being interested in what makes her so guarded - though not so she can go around telling everyone. Um...that's what comes to mind at the moment, feel free to add/change/remove/etc any ideas! (:

Paris&Alex

Okay, Paris is 21 and a Lima resident. I don't think there's much I can try and plot her with Alex about, but I might jump in on your open thread with her since I want to get her out more. She's quite quirky and such, so either Alex could shy away from her if she tried talking to her, or possibly open up a bit - that's completely up to you. Anyways, though. Paris is friendly to just about anyone she meets until given a reason not to be, so she wouldn't be rude to Alex or anything. That's also all I have at the moment, but like I said, I just try to get her out there a bit more. (: Feel free to let me know if you don't want to plot anything with Paris, I completely understand. :3

since rachel is in the new directions, i think alex would probably hear about her from listening to some of the conversations that were had at vocal adrenaline rehearsals. so she'd probably known of rachel, and after hearing how intense she is, and maybe how good she is, she'd definitely be overly shy and rather intimidated to be anywhere near her. but in some odd way, i can see her accepting the fact that rachel is interested in what makes her so timid and guarded, though she'd initially be worried about what might happen to her if they are seen talking together. XD there's room for a lot of interesting little plots with them, so maybe rachel could help alex gain some of her confidence back.

alex & paris
since she's a lima resident, i wonder if perhaps she might know alex's aunt, kathryn? that could be something to connect them a little, and since i think her playby is the bomb, i definitely would love for them to develop a really close relationship in the end. she'd almost be the aunt while kathryn became the sister/mother that she never had. i'd love, love, love to thread with her!

Rachel&Alex

I can't say that Rachel would really know about Alex, simply because she blends in to the background, correct? But, I can definitely see Rachel intimidating her. I doubt she'd do it on purpose, simply because she's not very intimidating, haha. But if she ever heard her sing, she would definitely be impressed by her talent. I could see them becoming loose acquaintances, or something. They probably wouldn't spend much time together because of what schools they go to, and since they're part of rival glee clubs, but Rachel would probably take quite a liking to her. Despite the fact that she lets her ambition mostly fuel her actions and such, Rachel's a sweet girl, and she looks out for the people she cares for. But we can definitely see how they develop as the rp progresses and such!

Paris&Alex

She's living in Lima her whole life, and from the sounds of it, Kathryn's not much older than Alex, right? Paris is about four or five years older than Alex, but there's a definitely chance that she might know Kathryn if she's a Lima resident. Or even an Akron one, since she's just a friendly person, haha. Zooey Deschanel ftw. <3 (And I adore your playby, too. Demi Lovato = <3) I would love for her to develop some type of close relationship with Alex in the end. Paris definitely needs more people to interact with, and it'd be awesome for her to have someone who's like a niece to her. But I'll definitely jump in on your open thread in the morning with Paris if it's still open! <3
