"Oh." Sam couldn't find anything better to say than this, because he didn't know what words to use to express his concern. He felt bad for Quinn, because she had lost so many friends all because of the mistakes she had made a couple years ago. It kind of sucked that people couldn't look past that. After all, the past was the past, and now Quinn's pregnancy would have happened almost two years ago. Quinn was a senior now (making Sam feel a little lame in a way, since she was older than him) and Santana would be, too, so he honestly wished for Quinn's sake that they could get over the hurdle that should've been left behind awhile ago.
In another way, Sam felt like he was lucky, because of karma. Everything happened for a reason, after all, and maybe if Quinn hadn't gotten pregnant and Brittany and Santana stopped being friends with her, this wouldn't have happened, he thought, suddenly becoming very aware of Quinn's hand in his. It was a dumb, superstitious thought to have, but as he liked to joke (even though he sometimes took the word very personally), dumb was his middle name. Besides, it was kind of cool to think that everything you did affected someone else, even just indirectly. Sam thought he might like to feel like he had some influence over other people, since he often wasn't taken seriously. Especially not in class, where he struggled because of his dyslexia, and sometimes not even in glee club because he didn't have a lot of experience with music. But a lot of the time, he knew it was just because he didn't speak up like he knew he should.
After just thinking for a few moments, Sam felt like he should've said something more reassuring. He struggled over trying to phrase what he wanted to tell her, managing to stammer, "Uh, it would kind of depend on who got to be captain, wouldn't it? 'Cause if you win, Santana probably won't be too happy about it, but if she wins, she'll be happy and it might be a good time for her to get over herself and move on. I mean, Finn got over it, right? And he was involved; Santana wasn't." He wasn't sure if what he was saying was helping or making things worse, so he looked up at Quinn, hoping that she would say something or that her expression would at least change so he could figure out if he had said something stupid or not.

Quinn held back a slight giggle when he tried to be reassuring, though she knew he was trying and that made her smile. She knew that Santana would probably stay angry at her no matter what happened, but she hoped that maybe she’d actually start talking to Quinn instead of them both fighting whenever they communicated. She’d just had enough of constantly having to find ways to keep the brunette off her back, it was getting extremely annoying. That was one of the reasons she wanted everything to work out the way she hoped it would, the only other reason was one she’d never admit to anybody – she actually wanted Santana to be her friend again. Yeah, sure the girl was a complete bitch to nearly everybody but the two of them had more in common then Quinn did with anybody else in the entire Glee Club. So, she was missing having someone she could relate to around. Santana and Brittany had both been like sisters to her and then karma came along and ruined her life, like a wildfire it had destroyed everything including their friendship.
The blonde sighed, pulling herself away from her thoughts before she got too absorbed in her thoughts. After all, she really didn’t want to do something stupid like trip over her own feet because she wasn’t paying attention. So, she managed to keep her mind on what was really going on and she couldn’t help but smile at that. Karma might have ruined her life, but it just thrown her a life line and she was more than happy to take it. She’d managed to sort things out with Sam and hopefully, the same thing would happen with Brittany and Santana. Her focus was drawn back to Sam as they continued walking through the halls, their hands still linked. It seemed crazy that they’d actually managed to work things out, but at the same time Quinn was over the moon about it. She’d wanted to say she was sorry and tell him exactly how she felt for a while, but she’d never been good with her emotions – that was obvious when you looked at her past – and she’d also never been that good with words either. So, she had this feeling that even if she did try to apologize she’d do something stupid or say something stupid or completely ruin everything. It was a relief to know that she’d gotten over that hurdle – sort of – and that there was no real awkwardness between the pair anymore.
The only thing she was worried about now – apart from the whole Santana thing – was how people would find out, because in a small town like this it was an inevitability that everyone would know sooner or later. Especially with Jewfro and his stupid gossip blog, but she wondered if they should tell people rather than just letting the gossip fly around or maybe they should just let the gossip fly – she honestly did not know. So, she was counting on Sam’s opinion really. Quinn felt like maybe this time they really had a chance together, the very last thing she wanted was to become a control freak like Rachel. “Yeah, I hope me and Santana can work things out. Trying to keep her off my back is getting kind of boring.” She joked, although it was very true. “What are we gonna tell people?” She asked, and then wished she hadn’t but decided to go on anyway. “...about us?” She continued, before deciding that it was probably better if she just shut up right then. Her cheeks flushed a pale pink color as she looked down at the floor, wondering what had convinced her that asking that question was a good idea.

"Yeah, but San's always on everyone's back," Sam pointed out. He wasn't trying to sound pessimistic, but Santana was always the one to come at everyone when things went wrong. He supposed it was just her way of dealing with things when they took a turn for the worse (like when they had lost at Nationals and she unleashed a spitfire of Spanish curse words at Rachel...which Sam had thought was kinda hot in a deranged way, but he wasn't about to say this or give any evidence that he was thinking it in front of Quinn), but that didn't make it right. Sam knew Santana's temperament almost as well as Quinn did, he thought, because he had dated her for a few rough weeks last year, back when he was the new kid and was dumb enough to let everyone manipulate him. Sometimes, Sam wondered why he had been so naive back then...was it really because he was just confused from the move or had it been something different? Sometimes he wondered if it was just that he had been sort of dumb in general.
Sam absorbed what Quinn was asking him, about what to tell people about...well, them. Glancing down at her out of the corner of his eye, he tried not to smile when he saw that she was blushing a little. He looked away and started staring at his feet as they walked, paying no attention to where they were going. Sam was too focused on trying to answer what seemed to be an impossible question. He knew it wouldn't really matter what they told - or didn't tell - everyone at school, including the gossip blogs, because things spread quickly in Ohio, especially in a small town like Lima where everyone knew each other a lot better than they probably even wanted to. Sam had started going to McKinley a little over a year ago and already all of the students, teachers, and anyone else who lived there knew nearly his whole background and about his family's home situation. It was like they had looked him up on Google, or like there was a huge neon sign above his head proclaiming all of his personal information. Tennessee hadn't been much different - everyone had known everyone and everyone had known everything about everyone - but it didn't mean he didn't have a problem with the way things worked.
Sam snapped out of his mental rant and looked back up at Quinn. He had lost track of time while lost in his own thoughts and hoped that he hadn't kept her waiting for too long. Part of him was kind of afraid that if he answered her question, she would have forgotten all about it by now (considering he had no perception at all of how much time had passed - barely more than a minute), but he replied anyways. "I dunno," he mumbled, "What do you want to tell 'em?" His words slurred together a bit because he refused to speak up. He wasn't sure how he felt about having his relationship with Quinn broadcast around the whole school, because that hadn't gone down so well last time, but he would be willing to put up with it if that's what Quinn wanted. Like he had once told her back in the 'glory days', he would have done anything to make her proud to point down the hall and say, "That dude's my boyfriend."

Quinn kept her eyes on the floor and her head down, hoping that Sam wouldn’t notice her slight blush. She wasn’t sure exactly what to do, because if they did tell people then it would spread around the school like wildfire and people’s reactions to things at this school were always hard to predict. Although, if they didn’t tell anyone then there was hardly any chance of keeping it a secret but it might not spread around the school so quickly. So, she was relying on Sam’s opinion on this one. She would do whatever he felt comfortable doing, because she didn’t know and after all of the gossip that had gone around about her in the past, she didn’t really mind what they did.
The blonde had gotten used to the constant gossip, whispering and secrets that travelled the halls. Though, the only thing was that at this school, you couldn’t have any secrets. It only took one person to see or overhear something and all of a sudden the thing you’d been trying to hide was the talk of the town. That was only made worse with Jacob and his stupid blog; he always seemed to find some way of finding things out. For example, she had no idea how he found out about her pregnancy after she’d tried so hard to protect that secret and then, there was last year with Sam and the motel. Quinn still felt bad for him because of that, he really hadn’t wanted anyone to know and as soon as one rumour started, hardly anybody would rest until they found out. That was worse for him, because it was published in the school’s newspaper and not just on Jewfro’s stupid blog. Although, at least the Glee Club had been understanding and helped him through it.
Then, she noticed that he hadn’t said anything yet, which made her feel like a complete idiot for asking that question. She counted as a few more minutes went by, making her feel even more stupid than she already did. Though, as soon as Sam did reply, Quinn let out a little sigh of relief – which she hoped he hadn’t heard. “I dunno.” He’d answered, before asking what she wanted to do and that just made her feel like she’d hit a brick wall, but she didn’t show it. Instead, she just looked up and hoped her slight blush had faded now. “I don’t know either,”The blonde replied, pushing her fringe out of her eyes. This moment felt slightly awkward to her, but she powered through it and just tried to think of the best solution. “There’s no way we can keep it a secret, especially with Jewfro hanging around. Although, if we tell people...well, reactions are hard to predict.” Quinn muttered, still not knowing what exactly to do. Tell people? Try and keep it a secret? She was actually quite confused for once on which road to take. After all, she would never be ashamed to tell people that Sam was her boyfriend but she didn’t want their relationship to go down exactly the same path as it had last year.
“I think...” She muttered, before thinking of an idea. “we should keep it a secret, only for a week or so.” Quinn continued, feeling like maybe her idea wasn’t such a good one after all but carrying on anyway. “Just to see how it goes. Then, if you want to we could go public?” She finished, her idea had sounded better in her head then it had out loud, but that was the same with nearly everything she said. “It’s up to you.” She added, hoping that if he didn’t like that idea then he could think of one himself.

"Uhh..." Sam replied intelligently, not wanting to keep Quinn waiting too long. "It's up to you," Quinn had told him, and he wasn't sure how he felt about having a decision like that in his hands. Girls were always hard to predict - especially for Sam, who didn't have much experience to speak from - and anything he said could cost him this. From being friends with Rachel and Mercedes, there was one thing that he had managed to figure out about girls, though - they seemed to like being able to keep each others' secrets. That was more something that came from Rachel rather than Mercedes (who was one of the school's biggest gossips), and Rachel had apparently always been an outcast at school without many friends, so maybe that trait was just her and resulted from being ignored and friendless for so long. But she always seemed so ecstatic whenever Sam asked if he could tell her something...he was confused. He also was conflicted between trying to answer Quinn's question and not wanting to open his mouth because he knew he would probably blurt out the first thing he thought of. Sam thought it would probably be better not to say anything at all in that case, because he was still trying to be careful with Quinn. Even though it was obvious that she was different now, he wasn't sure if she was still as touchy-feely as she had used to be about getting her way. The blond hoped not, but was aware that he couldn't really control it either way.
Sam closed his eyes for a moment and tried to focus. With his careful consideration of Quinn blocking his path, he wasn't sure how he felt about this whole thing. Did he want everyone to know about their relationship? Quinn seemed on the fence about it, so he figured what he said would probably make the decision. Last time that didn't go so well, he reminded himself, when wondering if they should just go public with it already or not, but everyone's gonna find out anyways. There was no way for Sam to prevent people from seeing them in the halls, especially not - to put it in Quinn's words - with 'Jewfro' Jacob Israel hanging around with his stupid little microphone and camera people. Now that Jacob was the editor of the school paper, and not just the writer of his dumb blog that more people seemed to waste their time on than seemed logical, it could be dangerous going public so quickly. But again, people would be curious, especially people close to them. If he kept ducking out of the house all the time, his parents would definitely get suspicious. Rachel would wonder why he suddenly had plans all the time - plans that didn't involve watching his little brother and sister - and the guys on the football team would probably be wondering, too. He didn't want to have to lie to his friends just to keep his relationship a secret, but yet again, it did make his second chance with Quinn seem a little more exciting; having it kept just between them for awhile.
"I'm kinda on the fence about it," Sam admitted. It was the truth, considering the back-and-forth banter going on in his head right then. "I don't want the whole school finding out and getting on our case about it, but I don't want to have to lie about it, either." He felt kind of nervous trying to explain his thoughts to her, because he wasn't sure how she would react. Quinn wasn't the same girl she was back during Take One of their relationship, but Sam used to believe that people never changed, no matter how different they seemed. It was a reason for him to be wary and skeptical stepping into this second try, but he didn't want to feel like that. He didn't want to be reckless either; planning things like whether to go public or not would probably benefit them later. Great, now I'm not even making any sense, Sam thought bitterly, staring at his toes some more as they walked. He was so confused. "I guess we should just..." he started. He wasn't sure how to finish, but eventually amended, "I mean, whatever you want is cool." He let out a sigh of relief. It was all out of his hands now. Whatever Quinn said next would determine what they would do, and that was more than relieving to Sam.

Quinn didn’t really know what to do, after all she wasn’t as open about her relationships and friendships as she had been before – having your secrets announced in blogs and newspapers did that to a person. She was more cautious then she had been before, because she knew the consequences of letting the whole school know all your secrets and she didn’t like that. Although, she didn’t like lying either. Sure, after the past two years she’d become virtually an expert at it but that didn’t mean she liked it. She hated having something to hide, because it was only a matter of time before everybody knew anyway and it made the gossiping even worse. So, she wasn’t sure herself what the best thing would be to do. The blonde didn’t want to have to hide it, but if they went public everybody would be on them, constantly asking questions and gossiping about them behind their backs.
She hated high school for that, it’d ruined her life. A few years ago she had her life exactly the way she wanted it and she would’ve known exactly what to do in this situation, because she’d had a solution to almost everything. Then, she took a few wrong turns and made a few mistakes and everything had gone down the drain. Her whole outlook on life had been flipped completely, leaving her mentally scarred – and physically, if you counted stretch marks. She never knew what to do in any situation and was a lot more cautious then she used to be. Quinn sometimes wished she could go back in time and change all the mistakes she’d made, the mistakes that had left her like this. Then, she’d remember all the good things that had come of it, even if there weren’t that many things that were good it still made her smile to think about them.
The blonde returned to reality then, back to the place where she was still so confused about everything. That was when she heard Sam tell her his thoughts and she couldn’t help but admit that she was on the fence about the whole thing to. It was like she was standing at a crossroad, but both paths lead to something unknown. She preferred things that were organized and planned, like a Cheerio’s routine. Why hadn’t someone invented the time machine yet? At least then if she made a mistake she could go back and change it, but she knew whatever she said now was the path they would most likely take and if it was the wrong one, then she couldn’t change it. Her feelings were mixed and she really wanted their relationship to work this time, especially after how wrong it had ended last year. She wanted to make it right and if she chose the wrong path, she’d just make it worse.
Quinn wished she could shrink down into a tiny ball and disappear until she came up with a sensible solution to this problem, but she knew that was impossible. That’s when she realized that she’d been silent for quite a while now and she didn’t want Sam to make any assumptions from that. “I honestly don’t know either...” She muttered, looking up at him again. That’s when an idea came to her, it wasn’t a very good one for sure but it might be okay. “How about if we only tell people we’re close to, like friends and family and stuff?” The blonde said, the idea had sounded much better to her when it was in her head. “That way we don’t have to keep a secret from everybody?” She continued, hoping that Sam liked the idea because it was the best she could come up with. “Whatcha think?” She asked, not wanting him just to say yes to the idea because she thought of it, but because he actually agreed with it and wanted to do that.

Sam sighed, knowing that no matter what they did, there would be talk behind their backs. He was sure that rumors were already flying and that they would be put up on Jacob's stupid blog by morning, and part of him didn't really care what was said about them because he was too proud of having Quinn back, but another part of him was pretty sure he wouldn't like having his business intruded in by the school newspaper. No matter how happy he was now, that feeling wouldn't go away.
Sam kind of likened high school to a highway. If you took the wrong exit, you'd get stranded until your GPS recalculates and gives you the right directions. Except in high school, it tended to take a lot longer to recalculate and fix your mistakes than with an actual GPS. Not that his family even had a GPS, let alone a car anymore. Selling that had gotten them a good couple thousand bucks, but money like that didn't last long with five people in the house. Stevie and Stacy were still growing and needed new clothes every couple of months, and he was aware that he ate more than he figured was normal for a teenage boy, no matter how tall he was. Sam thought for a moment and wondered if he knew what Quinn had gone through, in some way. He hadn't been pregnant - that was for sure - but he knew how she had probably felt throughout that whole ordeal. It was hard enough navigating high school normally, but when people were judging you on your mistakes or your family's income (or lack of it), it made everything about ten times worse.
Sam snapped out of his thoughts and listened to Quinn make a proposition: "How about if we only tell people we're close to?" He thought he could be satisfied by that. But based on the people he was close to, he wasn't sure if he even wanted to do that. His parents, for one, would be begging him to bring Quinn home, and doing that would surely embarrass him. It wasn't that she hadn't been to their motel room or met his parents before; it was just that now, Quinn wasn't "just a friend," and if he had to introduce her as his girlfriend, his mom would probably get so excited that she had a heart attack, and his dad would pull him aside and try to give him "the talk" again, which happened every time he said he was going out with a girl or had a girlfriend. Stevie would surely tease him about it, which was cute for a little while, but just got annoying after the fiftieth time. He could just imagine it now: "Sam and Quinn, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G." His face turned red just thinking about Quinn having to witness that.
And then there were his friends, Sam thought. Most of his friends - like Finn and Artie and the other guys from glee club - were cool with whoever he went out with, and would be cool if he ever needed advice or something like that. They wouldn't freak out. But Sam also had a couple of friends who were girls, like Rachel and Mercedes, who were two of the biggest blabbermouths he had ever met. He loved them just the same - in a friendly way - despite it, but Sam wasn't sure he wanted his relationship broadcast to the whole glee club-slash-school yet. Plus, he knew the way Jewfro's blog worked - he targeted the people who he knew would give them information. He knew Rachel would have trouble keeping her mouth shut under pressure, so he knew Jacob would probably head straight to her. Still, he couldn't stand the idea of having to keep his relationship a secret from one of his closest friends.
"Uh, yeah. I mean, we could do that. But I'm not sure I want to tell everybody I'm close to just yet," Sam said, winking. It was a cheesy move, but hopefully she would understand what he meant by it.

Quinn knew she’d definitely wait to tell people, but Sam could if he wanted too. After all, she’d never be ashamed about people knowing he was her boyfriend, but she just didn’t want the hassle of everyone constantly bugging them. The school year had only just begun and she already had a back log of homework and things she needed to sort out. So, she really couldn’t deal with any more trouble at the moment, especially not when it came from people like her mom. Sure, she loved her mother and everything, but sometimes she could be very annoying. If Quinn told her, she wouldn’t get any peace and quiet for the next few weeks. She wouldn’t stop talking about it and asking questions and bugging her to bring him over for tea or something. Yeah, Sam had met her mom before but only briefly because Quinn had made her leave before she had time to embarrass her daughter.
The blonde’s thoughts flashed through what her other friends might think, but she knew that they’d all support them and be fine with it. Although, some of her friends were the biggest gossips McKinley High had ever seen and she wasn’t too sure about telling them. Since, they didn’t want the whole school to know and the minute you tell one blabbermouth something then it wasn’t long until everybody knew. So, she knew that she’d have to wait and keep it a secret from some people for a while. Quinn didn’t mind that though, she was happy they were back together and for now, that was all that mattered to her.
"Uh, yeah. I mean, we could do that. But I'm not sure I want to tell everybody I'm close to just yet,” Sam then said, winking at her and she couldn’t help but giggle. He could be so cheesy at times, but then again so could she. “Me neither,” She smiled, winking back at him like he had her, letting out another giggle afterwards. It was so much easier with Sam then it ever had been with Finn or Puck, or any of those other guys. It felt like she was in Kindergarten again, but in a good way and she liked that. Everything was brighter, more fun. That’s when she pulled herself out of her thoughts, in case she ended up blurting out one of her extremely cheesy and embarrassing thoughts.

Sam didn't even want to think about what his parents' reaction would be, but he knew that if anyone deserved to know about he and Quinn, it was probably them. It wasn't as if he was extremely close to his parents or anything, but hey, being squished in a motel room with people can make it hard to keep secrets. Plus, he knew that his parents would be eager to have Quinn re-introduced to them as his girlfriend, his mom especially, and the longer he put off telling them, the worse his dad's 'talk' would probably get. Sam sighed, realizing that he was thinking about their reactions even though he had told himself that he wouldn't...not that anything could have brought him down right then. He was over the moon just to have Quinn back again. Losing her had been such a trainwreck for him - psychologically, at least - that for awhile, he was convinced that he was going to die alone. It was dumb, and he knew it, but he couldn't lie about what he'd felt after having to break up with her.
Sam wasn't really worried about Finn or Rachel or any of his other friends as far as support went. He knew the guys would be supportive of them, and would all try to pitch in their mediocre advice, as seemed to be the tradition when any of them revealed that they had a new girlfriend. Rachel would probably be happy for them, but it would take a lot of begging for him to get her to agree to keep her mouth shut about it, and mean it, too. He didn't care if the whole glee club knew, but he was very aware that Jacob was still stalking Rachel ('stalking' putting it mildly), and if word got out to him, the whole school knew. That was why he would probably wait to tell her, although he knew she would be begging to know what was up with him eventually.
Sam just smiled and looked down at his toes when Quinn winked back at him. He wasn't sure where the conversation was headed now, but at least they had gotten the one major decision they would have to make out of the way. Sam was just happy to be alone with her and not have it feel weird - after all, the two were practically never left alone during their relationship last year, and whenever they did get time alone, they were always making out or doing something Quinn wanted to do. Back then, it hadn't really mattered to him that much, but he was finding that he liked just getting the chance to talk to her. He felt like he knew her better somehow, just through this conversation that was a lot shorter than it seemed. "So, um, now what?" Sam asked, wanting to say something because the quiet was starting to bother him. It wasn't awkward or anything, being in silence with her; he just didn't want the conversation to end.

Quinn was so caught up in her thoughts and the fact that she could finally look at Sam and feel something other than regret. That was all she had felt for a whole year, every time she saw him and when she saw him with another girl it made everything a whole lot worse. That was one of the reasons she’d been so eager to go into the relationship with Finn straight afterwards, to hide the guilt. She didn’t regret getting back together with Finn though, because she wanted to right that wrong as well but she did regret how she did it. Her emotions had always been her downfall, because although she’d never admit it – her main problem was her insecurities. That’s why she’d cheated on Finn and then on Sam. She’d been insecure about herself the day she’d done ‘the dirty’ with Puck and she’d felt insecure about her popularity the day she decided to cheat on Sam. All that pain just because of her stupid, stupid emotions. She’d hurt so many people, but she knew this time she would try her very hardest not to hurt anyone. She wouldn’t let her emotions get the better of her, this time would be right.
Her focus was pulled back to reality and the happiness of the moment, rather than the determined and slightly guilty world of her thoughts. Quinn was glad that they’d decided how they were going to solve their first problem and that had been the only one in her mind, so she felt like she could relax a bit more now than before. Although, she knew that at this school there was always more than just one problem to overcome when it came to relationships, but she didn’t care about the ones that might come she just wanted to enjoy now. It was cool to be alone with Sam, after all at this school ‘alone time’ was hard to come by. Then, when Sam asked her “now what?” and she didn’t exactly know how to answer.
She didn’t know what would come next, but she certainly didn’t want the conversation to finish. Quinn enjoyed talking to Sam, because it was so easy, like they’d always known each other. The blonde enjoyed his company too, but she wasn’t sure what to say next. She was with him and that was enough for her, right now. “I don’t know, what do you wanna do?” Q asked, wondering if he had any ideas.

Sam had sort of lost track of time since Quinn had first dragged him into the girls' bathroom that morning and since they had both been slushied. The ends of his bangs hung in his eyes, and, noticing they were still tinged with blue, he grinned. He still found it kind of amazing, in a way, that so much had come out of such a strange event. Talking about their feelings in a bathroom, both stained with colored slush, had been the last way he had imagined this reconcilation happening. Still, he couldn't have been more pleased with the way things had turned out. Now that he had Quinn back, his bleak life was sure to get a lot more interesting (in a good way). All in all, it had been a great start to the school year...aside from the slushie facials, that is.
Right as Quinn said, "I don't know," the next period bell rang, signifying that not only was it already time for their last class before lunch, but they had missed the whole of glee club. Disappointment ate away at Sam's insides - not because they'd missed glee, but because his time with Quinn had gone by so quickly. They had spent so much time discussing the heavy stuff, like what had really happened between them and what they were going to do to keep their relationship from spreading around the school like wildfire, that Sam felt like they had barely even talked at all.
Still, there was no use being upset about it, because for once, this wasn't necessarily the end. Chuckling, Sam said, "Um, I guess we go to class now. Want me to walk you to your locker?" A grin spread across his face as he looked up from their still-clasped hands and glanced over at Quinn.

Quinn was surprised when she heard the end of period bell ring, the noise travelling through the whole length of the hallway. It hadn’t seemed like that long since she’d had that purple slushie hurled at her face. That was the moment when she became aware of the purple stains on her dress and the spots in her hair, again. She was definitely going to be having a shower tonight, although the dress would probably have to be binned. The blonde knew from previous experience that the slushie stains hardly ever actually came out of her clothes, sometimes they didn’t even fade. Whoever invented the slush obviously didn’t care about the consequences of somebody throwing it at people’s faces.
She rolled her eyes at the thought, before returning her focus to reality once more. Quinn didn’t want her time with Sam to be cut so short, although she knew that there was no way of escaping it. So, when he asked her if she wanted him to walk her to her locker she eagerly replied with a “Yes.” The blonde was glad they were finally back together and she’d gotten all of that guilt out of her system, well sort of. It was still there, still a part of her past and she couldn’t erase it no matter how hard she tried and that was the hardest part. Although, she tried to shove that thought to the back of her mind and lock it in a cupboard. She didn’t want to spoil this moment with thoughts like how she’d completely and utterly made some terrible decisions in her past.
After all, this was senior year and there was nothing more important than actually focusing on now. This year decided everything, including what her future might hold and she hoped all the school work and pressure would be a good distraction from all the time she usually spent regretting her past. She needed her cheerleading scholarship or at least some interest from other colleges, preferably ones out of Lima and the only way she was going to get that was to stay focused. Although, the only thing she wanted to focus on now was the fact that she and Sam were finally back together. That she could love him without the constant pain eating away at her and what had happened in that bathroom was one thing that she didn’t have to regret at all.
