Haley here. I have a ton of post-Activity Check updates to report as well as a surprise or two so if you'll bear with me through the boring stuff, we'll get to that in a minute (:
Firstly, we understand that real life is getting in the way and we're trying to be patient, but the activity rule has been updated - we're now asking that you log in once every two days, or at least try to adhere to that rule as best as you can. You don't have to post that often, but we just want to see who's really around and who's just lurking. Also, if you need to drop characters, we're trying to be very understanding, but please just drop us a PM before you delete your account to let us know, and don't delete until we reply! Thanks.
Next, an "Around The World" category has been added for those of us not living in Lima, Akron, or Westerville; also for the benefit of those of us attending college out of state next year. The claims and canon list have also been updated post-activity check. Four new characters have been added to the canon list - Shane (Mercedes' rumored boyfriend), Gavroche and Harmony (members of a rival glee club), and Sugar Motta (we all know who she was!) - in addition to a couple canon slots opening up for those of us hoping to reserve them.
Third, all threads not posted in during the month of September have been to the Thread Graveyard, so please notify a staff member if a thread you would like to continue has been mistakenly moved. Also, since it is post-activity check, if your account has been mistakenly deleted, please register with the EXACT SAME username you were previously using and PM a staff member and one of us can move your application and plot threads and get you started back up again.
Finally, the staff table has been updated with new avatars, but that's not really all that important, is it? ;)
So, since you've been waiting so impatiently, here are the surprises! One, Haley (me) has been working on a new skin for the site...expect a preview to be coming up within the next month or so! And two, more excitingly, is the arrival of our first site-wide event tomorrow! That's right, folks - McKinley High is holding a Fall Girls' Choice Dance open to members of all schools, and New Directions will be performing again as they did during prom! So grab a date, get plotting, and girls - don't forget the dress!
