the spotlight shines upon you -- basics

*mops up drool that resulted from above picture* Sorry. This is Terrance Scott, Coach Scott to you students at McKinley High. He's one of the French teachers, and the coach for the Titans Baseball team. He's a nice enough guy, but some students might know him as the idiot on the Colorado Rockies who got kicked out of baseball for having an affair with a married man. But he doesn't really talk about it and doesn't use it as an excuse - he's here to teach, and he loves teaching. So let's get started!

Teachers can't get too chummy with students, but he's a naturally outgoing guy. He's a little hyperactive, and has a profound lack of a filtering system, but he's compelled to help others, and to make people the best they can be. Kind of a natural teacher, even if his advice borders on terrible. He's around to talk to if you need someone, for sure. For those out of school, Terry is pretty outgoing as well, but more likely to form a lasting friendship with someone who isn't sixteen years old.

There's bound to be some. He is pretty blunt, and can border on insensitive, though unintentionally. There's also the whole thing that kicked him out of baseball, which doesn't make him look very good and can be easily latched onto by homophobes. He's not a huge fan of the Glee club, but that's more because Mr. Schue drives him a bit nuts with his over-eagerness. He's also not a big fan of the football team, based on their bullying tactics. However, chances are, he'll treat every student the same - just not like you as much.

No students. Dear God. And he's not as nice as Mr. Schue - he'll flat out tell you to get away from him. If you aren't a student, he's not exactly into the whole woman thing, and is a bit skittish about re-entering the dating field, considering what happened the last time he dated someone...

hi. so, i'm not gonna beat around the bush here cause yeah, basically i can plot with all three of my characters here. finn, won't be in baseball this year. but he will have french so student-teacher relations for sure. however, finn will chat with Mr. Scott over the game of baseball haha. finn's gonna probably be you're struggling student since he basically sucks at other languages.

SANTANA & TERRANCE
another student for you! although she is latina, hey whats wrong with learning a new language right? normally, santana would go to spanish for her foreign language credit, but the school said no cause they were on to her trying to get an easy A. haha. so she got stuck with french class.

DYLAN & TERRANCE
although, he is not a student. Terrance can come get coffee from the Lima Bean maybe? Unless he hates coffee, which boo you then! no, kidding. but dylan loves baseball so they have a common interest as he played before. buaha. plus, its nice to have him hang with someone out of school as well.

Oh Terry will probably love Finn's inability to understand such basic phrases as 'parlez-vous francais?', but I can see them getting along a bit. Finn is a nice kid, and he might be dumb as a post but he means well. So the door will always be open for him.

Terry doesn't get why the administration said Santana couldn't take Spanish, and understands why she's in his class even less. Depending on how... Santana-like... she is (XD), Terry will either mildly put up with her or be fully off-put by her.

I'm pretty sure 75% of Terry's bloodstream is coffee, so he'd be at the Lima Bean a lot. He'd recognize Dylan for sure. They could talk about baseball, and non-school-related things, because Terry needs someone who isn't a fifteen year old/Sue to talk to. It'd be funnier than hell if Terry tried to make Dylan go to places with him so he could pick up guys or something. I assume Dylan would be so not interested it isn't funny, what with him and Quinn being together. Plus, you know, picking up guys? XD

Well, Rachel's a student at McKinley. She's (probably) taking French, or has taken it at some point, so she'd know him that way. Butttt....um, I forgot, actually. I don't think I can plot her much with teachers outside of maybe Mr. Shue or Ms. Pillbury. XD I'm open if you have any ideas, though!

paris && terry

Okay, if Terry likes coffee, he might know Paris. She works at the Lima Bean along with Dylan, but unlike the blonde one, she's not much of a baseball person. She could nod along and make some agreeing sound every now and then, but she'd probably have no idea what he's talking about otherwise. XD But, she's identifies as pansexual, so that might give them something to go off of. Or not, I don't know. Just throwing some ideas out there. XD

I seriously have no idea here, either, lol, except that they'd probably run into each other at school and recognize each other. Sorry.

But this will be fun. Terry would probably realize that Paris has no clue at all what he's talking about with Dylan. As far as identifying with the pansexuals, Terry's smart, but not smart enough to know what that even means, so Paris might be able to educate him there. He'd probably try to teach her about baseball, and get distracted by coffee, and they'd never get very far because of Terry's ADD. XD

Oooh, she'd be happy to educate him! haha She'll try to follow if he suddenly goes off on something about baseball, but I doubt she'll follow much. But if he quickly gets distracted by coffee, it'll all work in her favor. XD Yay, more Paris plots! hahah

Samantha is a diehard Colorado Rockies fam so she would most definately remember when that one thing happened. She would not like what happened, because of the stupidity of him risking his position on the team, but she is anti-homophobic, so she would be happy that there is a little bit of uniqueness about him, but as i said, she still thinks that it was stupid. Thats why she likes Troy Tulowitzki(she is based on my love of the Colorado Rockies).
Overall, Samantha is not very sporty like she hates running and would much rather conquer her fear than be apart of sports. Not very good at plotting but all i can say is that she will be around him but hesitant. If you like that or think of anything else just let me know. i'm up for anything/

That is so weird - Troy Tulowitzki used to play for my college before he was drafted by the Rockies. I kind of love him too, even when he's playing against my SF.

Someone telling Terrance he was a total moron for what he did would be really funny, and a nice change of pace, considering most of what he got about the situation was in direct relation to his sexuality. Since she works at the Lima Bean, and Terry is there ALL THE TIME, they might interact with each other more than Terry would typically interact with a non-sports-involved student. Plus, if she's that kind of person, she'll be able to tell him what a dork he is, and he'll just kind of have to sit there and take it, lol. XD
