i know i may be young, but
It was the day after Santana had told her that she still loved her and Brittany had said she did too and so now, they were together. They hadn't told anyone just yet, apart from the people on the chat room they were in last night. It was obvious they were together after they said goodbye so no body really needed to be told if they saw those messages. Brittany walked into the cafeteria, taking in the hostile students trying to get their lunch in as less time as possible as they only had 20 minutes of lunch left. Brittany purchased a sandwich and water, giving the cashier all of her money making the lunch lady give her an annoyed glare as she sorted through the change. Brittany successfully paid for her lunch and made her way over to an empty table. She looked and saw all the high school cliques sat on their own tables before going back to looking down at her lunch. She licked her newly lip-glossed lips and took a tiny bite of her sandwich before sipping at her water. Outfit. |

Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) Quinn watched the hands on the clock tik by slowly, every minute seemed to be going slower than the last. The blonde had only been at school for a few weeks now and had only just managed to catch up on her homework. That’s why she couldn’t focus properly today, because she’d spent all last night finishing off her math and Spanish homework. So, third period calculus made her even feel even sleepier then she already was. The class was nearing its end when the blonde actually managed to fall asleep, but seconds later the teacher began angry talking to the head cheerio about why she was sleeping during class. “Quinn Fabray. Classes are for learning NOT sleeping, detention after school tonight.” The angry, brunette haired teacher told her after her feeble attempts at convincing him that she hadn’t been asleep. “But I’ve got Cheerio’s practice tonight.” The blonde argued, more awake now. After all, she’d just been made captain again and did not want to lose that role because of detention. “Not my problem.” He replied, just before the bell rang.
Quinn sighed, picking up her books and making her way out of the class room. Although, she knew she would be speaking to Sue before the day was over to get herself out of detention. Sue would get her out of it; like she had done every other time she’d gotten told off when she was a Cheerio. The last thing Q wanted was to have to spend her night sitting in a room full of losers, when she was meant to be practicing high kicks and lifts. Though, that would have to wait, because she was hungry now and even the thought of horrible cafeteria food sounded good to her. So, the blonde made her way through the corridors after stopping at her locker to get rid of her books and get some money. She’d forgotten just how good it felt to have people part when she walked down the corridors, sure they didn’t move as much as they had sophomore year but it was a start.
She made her way into the cafeteria and bought herself a ham salad sandwich, before paying and looking around for her table. It was true, that she could go and sit with the other cheerleaders but that table was mainly occupied by giggling freshman and she really couldn’t deal with that annoyance now. That’s when her blue eyes noticed Brittany, sat by herself in the corner. Quinn smiled and made her way over, wanting to sit near her blonde friend. “Hey Britt!” She said, sitting down in the chair next to her. Then, took a bite of her sandwich and waited for the blonde to reply.
Last night was the night Quinn had encouraged Santana to tell Brittany how she felt and luckily for her, it’d gone well according to Santana. So, it was obvious that they were now together and she thought it was actually quite sweet. After all, the pair had been friends since forever as far as Quinn was concerned and for Santana to open up like that, it was obvious that she really did like Brittany. Although, Q wouldn’t bring it up unless that was what Britt wanted to talk about. The last thing she wanted to was start an awkward conversation, so instead the blonde smiled and decided just to ask a simple question. “How’s things?” She muttered, taking a sip out of her cheerio’s beaker. The one filled with Sue’s shake mixture. Sure, Quinn had learnt that feeling good was better than looking good, but it turned out that with a few simple changes the drink wasn’t that bad and did keep her healthy.

Brittany took another bite out of her sandwich and then a sip of water. She saw Quinn buying her lunch and smiled, even though she wouldn't see her smiling. Brittany took another bite and thought. Quinn and Santana were both on the cheerios. Brittany wasn't sure exactly what she wanted to do. She did enjoy cheering, she loved dancing around and the school spirit it brought. She liked the looks people used to give her, showing her that she wasn't as invisible as she was now. But, she also didn't like Sue very much of because of how mean she could be. She wasn't as mean as she was when Brittany was on the cheerios. She didn't see Quinn approach until she sat down across from her. She looked up at the sound of her sitting down. When she greeted her Brittany grinned and said, "Hey, Q!" She took a bite of her sandwich and then answered Q's question about how things were. "Okay, I guess.. How about you?" Brittany replied. Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) Quinn had missed being able to talk to Brittany over the summer, since they’d kind-of separated when Santana had turned on her. So, she was glad that now she could talk to her friend without Santan butting in and dragging her away. Although, she’d never really hated Santana at all even when they were fighting with each other. After all, they’d been best friends once – all three of them - Quinn could never hate them. She was just glad that they were now back to normal and everything seemed to be working out for her so far this year. The blonde hoped that she could re-kindle her old friendships with people like Brittany and Mercedes, because she didn’t want to spend her time ignoring or fighting with people. She wanted to make the most of her time at McKinley and that certainly wasn’t any good if she spent it having raging wars with people.
So, she was glad to know that Britt was okay. “I’m good, the year got off to a pretty good start in my opinion.” Quinn smiled, taking another bite of her sandwich. Then, looking back up at her blonde friend and noticing that it seemed like something was on her mind. Brittany had never been good at hiding her emotions or anything for that matter, like that time she’d tried to hide a bird in her locker. Although, she still didn’t get why Britt had even tried to do that, but she’d never really understood Brittany at all. She was so sweet and innocent; it was like she’d never grown up past five, but in a good way. It made her a better person, because in all honesty Britt was one of the nicest people she’d ever met. So, if something was bothering her than Quinn wanted to help her out, like she had Santana. “What’s up?” The blonde asked, pushing her bangs out of her eyes and behind her ear.

Brittany looked around the busy room before carrying on eating. She saw all of the geeks sat at their table, the cheerleaders and the jocks on theirs. She was about to ask Quinn why she wasn't sat there when Quinn asked her own question. Quinn could look straight through Brittany and know her exact emotions. That, annoyed the blonde at times. "Okay, um, I'm not sure what I want to do about... cheerleading... I love it, a lot... but-" Brittany leaned forward and whispered this next part, "-I don't like coach Sue very much..." Brittany sighed and leaned back, taking a sip of her drink. Outfit. |

Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) Quinn smiled at her blonde friend, feeling a little bit sorry for her. Sue hadn’t exactly been the nicest person to Britt, even though she wasn’t nice to anyone really. Brittany was really gullible and easily lead, Sue had tried to take advantage of that. If they hadn’t quit the Cheerio’s last year, then she would’ve been killed and the coach wouldn’t have even cared as long as she got a trophy from it. Coach Sylvester was so self-centred and obsessed with winning that it was scary sometimes, but she didn’t want to quit the Cheerio’s because she enjoyed it and needed the popularity boost. Although, she could see why Britt of all people would be hesitant about joining again. So, the blonde was not sure what advice to give her on the matter. The last thing she wanted was for Sue to try and kill her again, because Brittany definitely didn’t deserve to do die at all. Though, if Brittany enjoyed it than maybe she should re-enrol.
The blonde sighed a little and then looked back up at her friend with a reassuring smile on her face. “Brittany, if you want to join up again then you should. I’m sure we can convince Coach Sue to let you in,” Quinn muttered, the smile still on her face as she took another sip of her drink. “If she tries to shoot you out of a canon again or something crazy like that, then I’ll stop her.” She continued, not knowing exactly how she’d stop Sue. After all, once she’d set her mind on doing something than there was hardly anything that could get in her way or even try and stop her, but she was sure she’d find a way somehow. “It’s your choice, though Britt.” She finished, the smile never once leaving her mouth.

Brittany rubbed her temples and sighed. "honestly, apart from glee club , it was the funnest thing that happened at school. I want to but... I don't know, something is holding me back from just going there now and rejoining..." Brittany said sadly. She really wanted to but something was holding her back, that something she needed to figure out. Brittany scooped up her hair from around her shoulders and secured it with a hair tie on the crown of her head. She pulled her bangs out and arranged them around her face before taking another bite of her sandwich. She remembered the question she was going to ask and she thought now was the relevant time. "So, why aren't you sat with the cheerios?" Britt asked. Outfit. |

Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! ) Quinn smiled reassuringly at her blonde friend, she knew that when Brittany was either confused or annoyed at something she usually gave up completely – like with the alphabet when she got to M and N. So, she knew that, that was probably one of the reasons she was unsure about re-joining the Cheerio’s. Although, Q didn’t want Britt to regret not signing up for it if it was something she really enjoyed doing. After all, this was our last year here at McKinley and they should enjoy every moment of it. That’s why she hadn’t quit the Glee Club this year, sure she’d thought about and considered it but at the end of the day she enjoys singing and that was what mattered to her. It was like a family in the club, a place where she felt accepted – most of the time – and she knew that being there was her only chance to feel that way. Since the rest of the school were still uptight and unchanging to the whole New Directions popularity thing, if she quit everything for her would go back to how it was before and she didn’t want that.
However, she did want things to be the same with Brittany and Santana as it was back then. ‘The Unholy Trinity’ reunited, although Quinn still wasn’t happy with the name they’d been given she still had to admit that it was appropriate. The blonde pulled herself out of her thoughts and back to reality as she heard her friend’s question, the answer seemed obvious to her. “Oh, well you’re my friend Britt and I didn’t wanna leave you sitting alone, you looked like you could use some company.” She replied, the same reassuring smile staying on her face as she took a quick glance at the table full of Cheerio’s and rolled her eyes. “Plus, all those giggling freshman give me a headache. They can be so annoying.” She commented, her gaze floating back over to Brittany as she took another sip out of her drinks beaker. “Anyway, if you ever want to rejoin I’ll support you all the way.”

Britt crossed her legs under the table and licked her lips before closing her eyes for a fraction of a second before opening them again. "Yeah... I suppose I could." Brittany said and smiled sweetly at Quinn. Just then, she spotted Chloe who she had copied off in math earlier on in the day. Britt stood, smiling brightly and waved at her before shouting, "Hi!" Chloe looked away embarrassed so Britt just sat back down and took another bite of sandwich. Britt looked back at Quinn and said, "I appreciate that... huh, I wonder if the seniors felt like that when we were freshmen..." Britt laughed to herself and took a long gulp from her water. Britt thought about what Quinn said for a few minutes before replying, "Do you think if I join I'll become a unicorn?" Outfit. |
