TAKE ME TO YOUR HEART, FEEL ME IN YOUR BONES. the girl took a deep breath, tucking her dark hair behind her ears as she sat in her car in the drive way. she looked up at her mom, whom was standing at the front door waving with a grin plastered across her face, and waved back before starting the engine. the girl then turned on her radio, nodding her head to the sounds of motley crue filling up her car. "i'm on my way, home sweet home! tonight! tonight! i'm on my way" she proceeded to sing along, then she realized she was off of her street and she shuffled around, with one hand, in her batman bag that was sitting on her passenger sear until she found a pack of cigarettes. she smiled and lit up one of the menthol sticks, rolling down her window. before all of her stressful high school days, at her old school of course, she was against smoking but after she had her first cigarette it just seemed to take care of everything. now, it was just another secretive habit.
indigo, her name of course, had practiced driving to her new school once they moved so she had a pretty good idea of where she was going. once her cancer stick reached it's end, she flicked it out of the window then she put her eyes back onto the road. she gulped in nervousness as she reached closer to the high school building, another gulp as she turned into the parking lot. once she was parked, she sat for a few minutes and just began thinking back on her past experiences in high school but shook them off as she snapped back into reality. "it won't happen again. i won't let it." she looked at herself in her mirror, checking her make up and nodding looking straight into her own eyes. so she grabbed her bag, fiddled around for her love spell spray so she wouldn't reek of cigarette smoke; sprayed herself down and got out of her car.
the girl looked around at the faces she didn't know, the building she didn't know, and heard the voices of people she couldn't call friends and sighed yet again. her little feet shuffled in her slip on vans as she walked towards the front doors, and slipping in trying to be unseen. students and teachers passed her left and right, and she looked around for some kind of guidance. she didn't even know where to go, how to get to an office or anything! she felt useless, and her lip quivered trying to speak up to some one, however; that plan failed. she tried to be the girl under the radar, but it was kind of hard now. she was the obvious lost girl, wearing a star wars t-shirt with a batman bag on her back. she sighed, shaking her head slightly.

Quinn had woken up quite late, which meant she had to rush to get ready this morning. She hated having to quickly run around and throw on her cheerio’s uniform without checking her make up or anything, she looked like a mess. It was made the whole lot worse because of Sam; the last thing she wanted was for him to see her looking like a complete idiot. Although, she didn’t have enough time to check in the mirror before she left the house. So, she just grabbed her keys and hopped into her car hoping that she’d have enough time before classes started to run into the bathrooms and make sure she looked okay. The blonde drove down the twists and turns of the road as fast as she could without exceeding the speed limit. Then, she quickly pulled into the parking lot and jumped out of her car.
It was an okay day for Ohio, it wasn’t pure sunshine but it wasn’t raining either so she couldn’t complain at all. Quinn looked around the lot, seeing all the usual cars and all the usual groups of people hanging around together. It looked like most of the Glee kids weren’t here yet anyway, which was a good sign since most of them were never late. So, she made her way through the lot smiling occasionally at the people that greeted her. There were mostly Cheerio’s and Jocks hanging around outside, as well as a few of the ‘rebellious’ types of people which hardly anybody ever actually socialized with. The blonde made her way straight inside though, without stopping to hang around outside with the cheerio’s like she sometimes did before school.
Quinn walked through the doors without really looking were she was going, she just wanted to get into the bathrooms before first period because she was pretty sure Sam was in her first class. The blonde began rushing down the corridor when she accidently bumped into somebody. She considered just ignoring it and carrying on walking, but she knew that it would be really rude to do so. She turned around to face whoever it was she had walked into and was greeted by an unfamiliar face. Q tried to remember the girl, but couldn’t and since she knew virtually everybody that walked these halls she figured that it must be a newbie. She didn’t like judging people and tried not to do it as much as she used to, but she knew that by the looks of this girl she wasn’t going to work her way too high up the popularity ladder and she didn’t want to be part of the group of people that paid her no respect. So, she decided to put a smile on her face and see what she could do to help. “Hey, sorry about that. I was kind of in a hurry, do you want any help? You look a bit lost.” Quinn asked, smiling reassuringly.
