everybody look at me, mei walk in the door you start screamingCOME ON EVERYBODY WHAT YOU HERE FORMOVE YOUR BODY AROUND LIKE A NYMPHO Walking through the doors of the Lima Bean has been one of Kurt's favorite parts of the week for almost a year now. Beside him as he walked to the line of the Bean stood his boyfriend, Blaine. Coming to the Bean had been the two's past-time since Kurt transferred to Dalton last year and continued when he moved back to McKinley. On this particular Friday afternoon, the sun was shining through the windows, lighting the coffee shop from corner to corner. Espresso softly filled Kurt's lungs as he stepped forward, toward the counter (there were two people still ahead of them). Kurt turned his head towards Blaine, whose features shone like an angels in the light. " How was your week? Sing any Top 40? " Kurt smiled. He already knew the answer. That is, unless the Senior chairmen have been playing the field with musical numbers. The line moved up, and Kurt noticed that it wasn't the usual barista working. Awesome, fresh drinks. For the past month, the usual barista had Kurt and Blaine's coffee orders ready to go by the time they walked in the door. Kurt admired the 'go-get-em" attitude, but the coffee just never seems to be as hot as it could be. As the lady before them in line grabbed her Latte and left, Kurt stepped forward. " One grande non-fat mocha latte for me, and a medium drip for him. " He smiled, looked at Blaine, and then back at the Barista. thinking " you speaking " " them speaking"

Blaine hated going to a different school than Kurt, to be quite frank. It seemed so silly now, looking back at it, that time when they both were at Dalton felt so wasted. It ma have been necessary for them to develop as friends before boyfriends, but it was a lot of months spent beating around the bush. The worst, however, was that they had not yet discovered if they would be facing off at sectionals. That would be the true test, because as much as he loved Kurt, Blaine still wanted to avenge the Warbler's loss at regionals
Giving Kurt a sly look as they waited in line at the Lima Bean, Blaine grinned playfully. He knew that the question was innocent, and Kurt would never use anything he told him to benefit the New Directions if they did face off, but he had still been placed under very strict orders not to discuss any possible sectional song selections with his boyfriend. Begrudgingly, he had agreed. "Well I suggested a medley of Katy Perry songs, but for some reason Wes and the other guys on the council weren't for it...But my week was okay. As good as it could be with you so little of you in it. How was yours?"
As they reached the front of the line, Blaine fumbled looking for his wallet, which was mysteriously missing from his back pocket. He found it in a side pocket of his blazer a moment later, but by then, Kurt had already ordered and paid for the both of them. "Thanks," he said, still smitten every time Kurt showed he had memorized Blaine's coffee order.
Once they had collected their orders, the couple retreated to their usual table "Oh I meant to ask you how your college applications were coming. Deadlines are coming up, aren't they?" Blaine said, tapping the side of his head, as if wondering how he could have forgotten to bring it up already. Playfully, Blaine allowed his right leg to sneak behind Kurt's underneath the table. They were n Lima, which prevented something as innocent as holding hands, at least without getting glared at by half the coffee shop, but playing footsie suited Blaine just fine. Taking a sip of his drink, he smile playfully at Kurt. A full week was really much too long to go without seeing each other.

everybody look at me, mei walk in the door you start screamingCOME ON EVERYBODY WHAT YOU HERE FORMOVE YOUR BODY AROUND LIKE A NYMPHO Kurt was surprised that Blaine had brought up a medley to the Warblers. " A medley? Looks like I'm rubbing off on you, " Kurt played. " And of course they didn't approve. A medley would mean that they would have to get out of their structured little world and mess things up. " Watching Blaine try to find his wallet amused Kurt. He found Blaine's need to be a gentleman both cute and adorable. But, since his boyfriend had paid for the last couple of weeks, Kurt took it on himself to be quicker than Blaine when it came to paying (not to mention placing Blaine's wallet in his blazer). " You've paid for my drink for the past month, it's the least I could do. " Trailing behind Blaine as he walked to the table, Kurt wondered if his mother would approve of him dating Blaine. I don't see why not, he thought to himself. He's really sweet and kind. I'm sure she would have loved him. " Oh I meant to ask you how your college applications were coming. Deadlines are coming up, aren't they?" By this time, Kurt was dazing off into the distance thinking about his mom. " What? " Kurt asked as he came back to Earth. " Oh, yeah. I've gotten my NYADA application filled out and sent in. " Kurt said with a grin. He took a sip of his Mocha Latte. Kurt was having trouble focusing ever since the previous day. He had been rummaging through his room and found an old note book that his dad had given him when he was eight, when his mother past away. But he didn't let it eat at him, or anything. It was such a small finding, but he couldn't help to think about his mother more and more. Then Kurt felt Blaine's leg brush against his. " Oh! Caught me off guard. " He winked and slipped his foot out of his shoe and brought it up, smoothly stroking upwards on Blaine's calf. " We really need to meet up more often. Once a week is just unbearable. " Kurt smiled and took another sip. thinking " you speaking " " them speaking"

Blaine couldn't help but chuckle as Kurt mentioned how doing a medley might force the Warblers out of their comfort zone, so of course it had been rejected. Some of them might take mild offense to such a remark, but the curly-haired lead singer knew it was more or less true, recalling the time he suggested a shake-up in their uniform. They almost came after him with pitchforks and torches. Kurt had always been way too unique for the Warblers. It was what Blaine probably loved most about him, but it also meant his boyfriend would never really be happy at Dalton Academy. Everyone was accepted, regardless of what they were, but they were expected to not stand out too much. "Well, we probably won't be doing 'Don't Cry for me Argentina' any time soon, but I'm hoping I can convince the council to step outside the box a little bit," Blaine commented with a slight grin, "Speaking of, are they letting you audition for a solo at sectionals, or are they too scared about you outshining them?" he asked with a wink.
It threw Blaine off slightly to have his coffee purchased for him. It was no secret that his parents had some money, and they had taught Blaine at a young age that they were to be generous with wealth, and not hoard it for themselves. Burt earned a decent living, but Kurt had to actually work for his discretionary money, where any jobs Blaine had taken were just to keep himself occupied. Still, he appreciated the gesture for what it was. As he asked Kurt about his college applications, he noticed that the boy seemed a little bit lost in space. He got his head out of the clouds for a moment, answering that he had indeed sent in his NYADA application.
"That's good. It would be so amazing if you go there. I would love an excuse to visit the Big Apple. I've been itching to since you all went to Nationals." There was a small selfish part of Blaine that wished his boyfriend would consider a school in Ohio, or at least Kentucky, but he knew Kurt was destined for bigger things than the mid-west. Still, imagining his senior year without Kurt was painful. There was not enough time, especially with them going to separate schools. He shook his head slightly, trying to focus on the beauty of the here and now, like like linking legs with Kurt under the table. He had caught the other boy by surprise it seemed, but Kurt quickly reciprocated, sliding a shoeless foot along Blaine's calf. The Warbler smiled at the chastely flirtatious move. No wonder the other Warblers teased him incessantly about how "Cute" he and Kurt were. "Are you feeling okay? You seem a little...spacey," Blaine inquired, slipping out of his own shoe and tracing along Kurt's free leg, but stopping innocently around his knee.notes: <3 words: 501 outfit: Warbler Uniform music: Katy Perry, duh tag: KURT! credit:- rawr!itsdes of Caution 2.0
